Lineage 2 Mass PvP and 9x9 Fights on L2Vitaly
This is Lineage 2 mass PvP followed by a 9x9 set, both recorded on L2Vitaly and uploaded on 19 October 2026 by the channel Thiago Lineage 2 with the group ninesquad. Seven minutes, no commentary padding, two very different kinds of fight back to back.
The pairing is what makes the video useful. Open-field mass PvP and a 9x9 are not the same skill. One rewards numbers, target calling and the ability to stay alive in a crowd. The other is a controlled format where every death matters and a single misused cooldown loses the round.
What happens in the footage
The first part is open PvP with a group large enough to fill the screen. That is the standard Interlude experience on a populated server: two blobs meet, the melee crashes first, and the fight becomes a race to delete the enemy healers before your own line collapses.
The second part narrows to a 9x9. Nine players per side, fixed rosters, and no room to hide behind extra numbers. If you have only ever played open-field PvP, this format exposes habits fast. Positioning, cooldown timing and target priority stop being optional.
The server behind the fights
L2Vitaly is a Brazilian Interlude project. The site is in Portuguese, the community runs through Discord, and the server exposes the usual competitive pages: Top PvP, Top PK, Top Online, castle and siege status, and a boss status tracker.
Those pages matter when you are choosing a server. A live boss tracker means the raid scene is organised enough to publish spawn windows. A castle and siege page means the server expects clans to fight over them on a schedule. If either is empty for weeks, the server is coasting.
L2Vitaly also has a donation section that opened in mid-October 2026. If you care about pay-to-win, read the shop before you invest time, not after. Most Brazilian Interlude servers sell convenience and cosmetics, but the only way to know is to look.
To compare it with the rest of the field, the Interlude server list covers the current projects, their rates and their opening dates.
Mass PvP and 9x9 need different preparation
In open PvP, survivability comes from the group. A bishop behind you, a song and dance pair refreshing resistances, and a tank drawing the first burst. Solo players who join a blob without a party die in the first exchange and spend the rest of the fight walking back.
- Mass PvP is a support check. The side with working healers and refreshers outlasts the side with more damage.
- 9x9 is a composition check. Nine slots force choices: how much healing, how much control, how many damage dealers.
- Both reward voice. Target calling in text is too slow once the fight starts.
Interlude also punishes bad positioning harder than later chronicles. There are no instant escapes for most classes, so a mage caught in front of the melee line is dead before the heal lands.
How to join L2Vitaly
Registration, downloads and the rules are on the official site, and the Discord is the fastest place to find a clan. If you want siege content, ask which clans are recruiting before you level. If you want 9x9, ask which groups run sets and what composition they are missing.
Then pick your class with that answer in mind. A server with plenty of damage dealers always needs another bishop, another song and dance, or another tank who can hold a door. Those roles get invited to everything.
Start with the video, watch how the 9x9 side rotates cooldowns, then check the Interlude servers page if you want to weigh L2Vitaly against other options before you download a client.
