The staff have published a roadmap that rolls out in stages: the first cap increase arrives on 18 September with Conquest bosses and new PvP systems, with further stages through October for raid coins, caps and gear. How an Essence siege differs from Interlude
Essence sits much later in the chronicle line than the classic servers most private L2 players grew up on. Skills scale differently, area PvE tools have fixed cooldowns, and the class roster is narrower than a full High Five build. What that means in a siege is fewer hard counters and more emphasis on sustained damage and buff discipline. The Overlord role in particular is a support anchor, so watching one player try to keep a party alive through a gate push tells you a lot about how the server's combat actually feels.
