Lineage 2 C4 Server: A Baium Raid on GameAr's Ares Winter
A lineage 2 c4 server always plays by older rules, and GameAr's Ares Winter is a good reminder of what that means. This Baium raid, recorded in September, is short and direct: a group commits to an epic spawn, the fight is decided by buffs and cooldown discipline, and the whole thing lasts less time than a modern dungeon queue.
What happens at Baium
Baium is the classic late-C4 epic, hidden behind the Tower of Insolence and guarded by a room full of statues that wake up when the fight starts. The clip keeps the camera close to one party as it opens the pull and settles into a rhythm, rotating damage while watching for the adds and the inevitable second group that wants the same kill. There is very little editing, so the timing of the fight, the re-buffs and the repositioning are all there to read.
The Ares Winter world on GameAr
GameAr is a Latin American Lineage 2 project that runs several worlds on one site, and Ares Winter is its C4 branch at x10 with accumulative sub-classes, a full NPC buffer and auto-skill support. The world opened on 14 August 2026, runs retail-style olympiads and automatic events, and keeps third-class skills out of the build, which is what keeps a C4-era fight readable instead of a burst race. Two other worlds, one C4 at x25 and one Interlude at x10, sit alongside it on the same network.
Why C4 still has a following
C4 is where the old pacing survives: slower pulls, heavier buff management and a smaller stat gap between a veteran and a newcomer. On a x10 server with sub-class accumulation, gear still matters, but knowing the boss pattern and calling the fight cleanly matters just as much. The result is the kind of raid that players who prefer the pre-Gracia era keep coming back for, and it is the reason a project like GameAr can run three worlds across two chronicles at once.
How to join Ares Winter
Registration and the client download live on the GameAr site, and the network's group channels handle announcements and events. If you are deciding between the three worlds, check the launch dates before you commit, since each one carries its own rate and chronicle. You can also scan our full server list to see how Ares Winter compares on rates and opening dates.
