High Five PvP Guide: From Your First Flag to Olympiad Hero

This high five pvp guide covers every way to fight other players on High Five servers: the flagging and karma rules, the monthly Grand Olympiad, castle and fortress sieges, Territory Wars, and open-world fights over raid bosses. It also explains the gear side of PvP — attributes, grade progression, subclasses and Noblesse — so you know what to work toward before your first serious duel.
Flagging, karma and what dying actually costs
Outside of towns and special zones, attacking another player flags you purple. If your target fights back, both of you are flagged and the fight is consensual. If they do not fight back and you kill them, you turn red — a PK — and your PK counter goes up. Dying while flagged carries a real risk: unlike a normal PvE death, a PK death can make you drop equipped or carried items, and the higher your karma, the worse the odds.
Three situations remove the karma risk entirely: declared clan wars, sieges and Territory Wars, and the Olympiad arena. Guards in towns attack flagged and red players on sight, so a PK run usually ends with a trip to a remote warehouse. The practical takeaway for new players is simple: never carryadena or gear you cannot afford to lose into a zone where clans are fighting, and check whether the zone you are farming is a declared war area before you flag on a stranger.

The Grand Olympiad: the monthly road to Hero
The Olympiad is the structured dueling competition of High Five and the only path to the Hero title. Entry requires Noblesse status with no exceptions, so finishing your Noblesse quest line is the first PvP milestone that matters. Each month, Noblesse characters fight 1v1 matches in two formats — class-based bouts against the same class and open matches against anyone — earning points for wins. At the end of the cycle, the top scorer of each of the 36 third classes becomes a Hero.
Heroes receive some of the strongest rewards in the chronicle: a Hero weapon from the Infinity line, exclusive Hero skills, a glowing aura and server-wide announcements. The skills cannot be used inside the arena, which keeps the competition itself fair. High Five also added daily Olympiad quests at the Grand Olympiad Manager — participate in a few matches a day and you collect rewards win or lose, plus Olympiad Tokens that can be exchanged for high-end gear such as Vorpal armor pieces.
How to start competing
- Finish Noblesse first. On High Five you do not need to kill Barakiel — hunting the quest monsters in the Valley of Saints completes that step.
- Pick up the daily Olympiad quests before your matches so every fight pays out twice.
- Watch a few matches before entering: buffs are heavily restricted on entry, so arena setups differ from open-world builds.
- Track the monthly cycle and push points in the final week, when rankings move the most.
Castle sieges, fortresses and Territory Wars
Sieges are the large-scale PvP of High Five. Castles change hands on a fixed rotation: clans register to attack or defend, and on siege day both sides field everything they have — damage dealers, healers, buffers, summoners and siege golems — around the castle gates and throne. There is no karma inside a siege zone, which is why sieges are where most players get their first taste of mass PvP. Fortress sieges are the smaller sibling: same idea, fewer players, and they reward Knight Epaulettes that can be traded for high-grade shirts, bracelets, talismans and Giant Codex books for skill enchanting.
Territory Wars run alongside the siege system across the nine territories of Aden and Elmore — Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren, Aden, Innadril, Goddard, Rune and Schuttgart. Players fight as clan members or hired mercenaries, capture wards, and earn Territory Badges. The badges buy territory belts and S80 jewels, which makes Territory Wars a genuine gear path, not just a battleground. If you want mass PvP with a concrete reward, this is it.
Join a clan before you chase any of this. Sieges, fortresses, Territory Wars and the epic instances below all assume you have a group — solo players watch from the sidelines.

Open-world PvP: epics, raid bosses and clan wars
The fiercest fights on any High Five server happen around raid bosses. Antharas, Valakas, Baium, Frintezza, Zaken and Freya all drop gear that defines the server economy — Vesper recipes, Vorpal pieces, epic jewels — so top clans contest every spawn. These fights are rarely fair duels: they are wars of positioning, with one side trying to wipe the other before the boss dies. Declared clan wars make this sustainable, because war kills carry no karma penalty on either side.
Outside of boss contests, open PvP flares up in the best farming zones — Dragon Valley, the Seed of Annihilation, Monastery of Silence — whenever two groups want the same mobs. High Five added two rebuilt hunting zones and a large set of new skills, so check your server files for exactly which areas are contested. Arenas in Gludin, Giran and the Coliseum exist for consensual duels if you want to test a build without risking karma or drops.
Gearing for PvP: attributes, grades and subclasses
Duels on High Five are decided by preparation as much as by reflexes. The attribute system is the biggest lever: six elements — fire, water, earth, wind, holy and dark — can be stacked on S-grade and higher gear using stones, then crystals past the stone cap. A fully attributed weapon against an unprotected target deals up to 70 percent bonus damage, while armor in High Five holds three attributes per piece, so stacking resists against the popular attack elements is standard at the top end. Start with the element quests at level 76 and build from there.
The grade ladder runs Dynasty (S) into Icarus weapons and Moirai armor (S80), then Vesper, Vorpal and Elegia (S84) from seeds, epic instances and Olympiad Tokens. Past the gear, two character systems matter enormously: subclasses unlock certification skills that strengthen your main class, and on High Five the subclass quest no longer requires killing Baium — Tower of Insolence monsters count instead. Enchant your key skills with Giant Codex books once your build is final, because enchanted skills are the difference between winning and losing mirror matchups.
